More about Mesh Transceiver Modules

The mesh network transceiver modules are a complete solution with an operating system. The transceivers offer an integrated, ready-to-use, compact design containing an MCU, RF circuitry and an optional on-board antenna, significantly reducing application development time.

Some advantages of a mesh network are that simultaneous upstream and downstream communications can take place and this type of network can be self-healing. Disadvantages would include a higher network latency due to multiple “hops” and a labour-intensive set-up.

Applications

  • Building Control & Industrial Automation
  • Asset Management
  • Lighting Control
  • Energy Management
