This open hardware, open software robot designed by Rick Winscot, Qilix, featured at the NYC Resistor HackSpace in Brooklyn, New York in 2014.
ROBO1010, is controlled using our easyRadio Advanced eRA900TRS / eRA400TRS wireless transceiver modules and an eRA-Connect2-Pi USB dongle, enabling you to connect wirelessly to laptops and program the robot to interact.
An Arduino Micro is the control centre and this is teamed with the easyRadio module on a specialised carrier board that keeps soldering to a bare-minimum. An excellent project for the kids.
ROBO1010 can be made from scratch using a kit of parts listed on the dedicated website.
The robot is a big hit with the children and can be build in many designs, colours and styles.
